Brand Building Experiment
From June 2024 to June 2025, I ran a year-long experiment to prove I could build an audience for a brand.
I launched a personal YouTube channel from zero subscribers. The niche I chose was intentional living. Every week for 52 consecutive weeks, I wrote, produced, and published an 8-15 minute long-form video: scripting from scratch, managing my own brand system, and optimizing for a niche audience in the current YouTube landscape.
Results:
0 to 34,000 subscribers grown organically in 12 months
1.7M+ total views
1 video with 700K+ views, 3 videos with 100K+ views, many in the 20K–80K range
~2x the industry-average view-to-subscriber ratio — sustained, highly engaged audience
An Average of 20+ comments per video — exceptional engagement for a channel of this size
52 videos published
The experiment ended by design. The point was not to become a full-time creator — but to demonstrate that I can grow an online brand from zero, with consistency, strategic thinking, and quality content week after week. That skillset transfers directly to building and scaling video presence for any brand I work with.
